The 1st ACA Research Symposium of the Institute of Accounting, Control, and Auditing, University of St.Gallen (ACA-HSG), took place in St.Gallen during 8-10 November 2017. In line with the University’s motto “From Insight to Impact”, the Symposium lived up to its objective of offering a unique platform for both researchers and practitioners to gather and discuss current and future challenges in accounting. Keynote speeches, conference presentations by researchers, the get together and conference dinner as well as informal breaks provided various opportunities for exchange and discussion.
