Dr. Katharina Schramm is awarded the Giorgio Behr Prize 2021 by the Institute of Accounting, Control and Auditing at the University of St.Gallen (ACA-HSG).
Katharina Schramm completed a banking apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank from 2008 to 2010 before earning her bachelor's degree in Busi-ness Administration at the University of Mannheim from 2010 to 2013 with a stay abroad at HEC Paris. From 2013 to 2015 she studied the Master Programme in Accounting & Finance (MAccFin) and the CEMS Master Programme in International Management (CEMS MiM) at the University of St.Gallen and at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona.
After completing her master's degree, Katharina Schramm earned her Doctorate in Business Administration while working from 2015 to 2019 at the Institute of Accounting, Control and Auditing (ACA-HSG) at the University of St.Gallen.
After completing her Doctorate, Katharina Schramm continued her pro-fessional career at Credit Suisse AG in Zurich in the Internal Audit de-partment.
The Giorgio Behr Prize – donated by Prof. em. Dr. Giorgio Behr - is awarded for the best dissertations in the departments of the Institute of Accounting, Control and Auditing at the University of St.Gallen (ACA-HSG).
The public award ceremony took place as part of the ACA Symposium on 14th/15th September 2021 in Zurich.
