The Giorgio Behr Prize is endowed by Prof. em. Dr. Giorgio Behr and awards the best dissertations in the subject areas of the Institute of Accounting, Control and Auditing of the University of St.Gallen (ACA-HSG). The Prize is awarded for extraordinary dissertations in the subjects of Accounting, Controlling, Corporate Finance and Auditing. The award ceremony takes place once a year as part of the ACA Prize in Financial Governance (successor of the Dr. Kausch Prize).

The official award ceremony of the ACA Prize in Financial Governance and the Giorgio Behr Prize take place as part of the ACA Research Symposium at the University of St.Gallen.
