About us

We cover the areas of accounting, auditing, controlling, corporate finance and (sustainability) governance. Cross-border business activities and international financial markets constantly demand new answers to financial questions - while at the same time the number of internal and external stakeholders is growing and the range of financial management instruments is becoming more extensive. In this field of tension, we see ourselves as a competence and transfer center for teaching, research, executive education and transfer within the framework of the University of St.Gallen:

• Our Master of Arts in Accounting and Corporate Finance (MACFin), offered in cooperation with other institutes of the University of St.Gallen, prepares students at the highest level for management tasks in the financial sector or in auditing and management consulting.
• For experienced practitioners, we are active in the field of executive education with a wide variety of offers and programs.
• Within the framework of application-oriented research, we work with private companies and public institutions on the development of modern systems of financial management.
