Company Networks and Executive Education

We actively shape the knowledge transfer between practice and our research. On the one hand, we receive important impulses for relevant research topics from practice, on the other hand, we make our research accessible to practice in the context of executive education. Close cooperations with companies ensure the practical relevance as well as the high application and implementation orientation of our work. This often takes place in the context of nationally and internationally funded projects, but also in individual company cooperations and in the form of expert opinions.

With the PMN - Performance Management Network, we operate an exchange with around 30 companies from the German-speaking region for the further qualification of controllers and managers within our Performance Management Academy. Regular seminars, benchmarking, and workshops strengthen the network character and offer the opportunity for a joint exchange of experience. The regular involvement of students in the cooperation enables them to gain an early insight into the companies and the challenges of future controlling practice on the one hand, and on the other hand enable the companies to get to know interesting high-potential candidates.

Through the SGFF - St. Galler Finance Forum for Family Firms we operate a personal experience exchange between the CFOs of large family businesses.

In order to intensify the knowledge transfer between research, teaching, and practice, the chair is also involved in the education and training of executives. Prof. Möller is involved in several national and international EMBA programs.
