Bachelor’s and Master’s theses

The chair's field of work includes basic and application-oriented research in the areas of performance management and business analytics. A final thesis should fit into this field.

In addition to scientifically focused work, the chair supervises a large number of practice-oriented bachelor's and master's theses. In this case, students work on a relevant problem in close coordination with the company and the chair.

During the semester, a selection of current topics is presented in lectures. Based on this, students can indicate a topic preference or apply on their own initiative. The application is always possible quarterly at four fixed times (01 January, 01 April, 01 July, 01 October). The topics will be assigned soon afterwards. For your complete application, please use the application form available in the download area as well as the documents noted on the form.

Own scientific or practice-oriented topics can be proposed if they fit thematically into a research area of the chair. However, since we have numerous own topics this is not necessary.

In any case, please apply as early as possible, either with a short description of the topic or an indication of areas of interest and your personal documents. We are looking forward to your application!
